The Silvercrest Residence in Fresno offers spacious studio and one bedroom apartments for seniors
Each apartment features a complete kitchen with full size refrigerator, electric stove and garbage disposal. There are sixty-four televisions stations provided for free and utilities are included in the rent. The Social Services Coordinator provides counseling and guidance in the everyday challenges of living. Weekly van rides provide an easy and convenient way to get to the grocery store. Social events are coordinated including monthly birthday parties, potlucks, movie nights, exercise groups, bingo, table games and holiday parties.
Affordable Housing for Seniors in Fresno
Silvercrest Fresno was developed and operates with Federal housing financing. The property utilizes the Section 202 Federal housing program to make rent affordable to lower income tenants.
The property was developed with funding through the HUD Section 202 program which provides funding for housing for seniors who are 62 or older. The program provided both capital financing to construct the property and operating subsidies that work as rental assistance like the Section 8 program.
